It's Saturday - how come I'm not at work?
Don't really know how I am going to handle all this free time. I don't have an excuse not to study today. I am so sick of TV that I can't even stand having it on for background noise like I usually do. Maybe I will just go and post comments on blogs I read. All these blog people seem to have other friends who have blogs. None of my friends have blogs. Maybe I don't have enough friends. I sometimes read on other blogs, "What is the point of posting on blogs - no one reads them" I think that is especially true here. But that's okay. I sort off think of this thing not as a public journal but a minimal effort electronic scrapbook.
If you do read this blog you may get the impression that I don't have much of a life. But that is SO NOT TRUE! I just planned an escape for next month. Now I just have to wait until next month. What the hell am I going to do until then? I guess I will have to study and improve my life.
Never thought of this...
"I would never die for my beliefs because I might be wrong." - Bertrand Russell
But I laughed a little when I read it! Good point.
My roommate and I had dueling alarms this morning. Both of us pressing the sleep buttons at different times. It was great.
On the David Letterman show last night they had the intern dress up like Mary Tyler Moore and throw her hat in the air. The intern had never seen the show. I remember always wanting to watch the opening song and Mary throw her hat up in the air. I didn't care abput the show. It was a little over my head at the time. Plus, I think it came on right at my bedtime.
Just got back from the dentist and my gums are raw. But I like my dentist. I get the same cleaner every time and she does not try to pry your teeth out with the pointy cleany thing like I've experienced in the past. And she heats up a rice pack and puts it under your neck. It is very relaxing. Every time I go I tell myself I got to get one of those rice packs. I had to change my appointment and they told me my regular doctor would not be available at that time. Who the hell cares? Just make sure I get that rice pack!
"Sara, I was talking to our vet who is moving here a few weeks ago about
your kitty and she gave me the name of a pet psychic who a couple of
their patients swear by. Her name is Judy F. and her number is
888-###-####. I thought it might help with his "little problem". Talk
Mom, I am beginning to worry about you.
(my cat was poisioned a year and a half ago and since then everywhere is his litterbox)
Well I don't have to do every single thing I did the last month over. I just have to go through the 1000 item inventory one-by-one and see of there are any duplicate part numbers from different vendors. Any one care to join me?
